What I Did

  1. Reverse-engineered the live site. Broke the production Next.js build down into its sections, layouts and components.
  2. Rebuilt it section by section. Recreated each section in WordPress with Divi, matching the original design.
  3. Made everything editable. Content that used to live in code became content the client can update in the WordPress editor.
  4. Kept SEO in place. Page structure, headings and metadata carried over as part of the rebuild.

The Result

The client now has a WordPress site that matches their original design, and their team manages content themselves without waiting on a developer.
